Electricity production at the Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) nuclear power plant resumed on Thursday after four days outage following a glitch, said the owner of the plant Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) in a press release.
The plant unit was synchronized back to the national power grid at 3:21 p.m.
Electricity production at the OL3 was interrupted on November 17 due to a malfunction in the generator's sealing oil system.
The issue has now been resolved, and the plant resumed electricity production after interruption of 95 hours.
The power upgrade of the plant unit is being carried out gradually, and during this day, electricity production at OL3 will continue at a lower power level of about 1,300 MW.
